Our History
We’ll be perfectly honest — we’re new here! But even though our doors had only opened in late 2023, what you see now is a result of a lifetime spent with litter-caked paw prints and loose dog fur on our hearts. Everyone that played a role in the conception of Jasper & GeeGee’s knows the value of time spent with a rescue pet. Whether that be a blissfully ignorant puppy who hasn’t quite gotten the hang of the whole balance thing yet, or end-of-life care for a displaced senior pet.
What originally began as a chase for a childhood dream that sounded something like — “I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up!” — has grown into a commitment to our community and the little toe-beans that stomp around within it.
Animals are a spectacular kindness. The love and companionship found in our relationships with our pets is incredibly unique. At Jasper & GeeGee’s we strive to preserve these connections by aiding displaced pets on their journeys to their forever homes.
We believe that animal ownership should be rooted in trust, compassion, and acceptance of responsibility. By providing a safe in-between to the pets that fall under our care, we make it our mission to pair them with new friends.
